JSI Cabinetry Plant-A-Tree Initiative

JSI Cabinetry’s Commitment

In partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation, JSI Cabinetry is committed to planting a tree for each Norwich and Branford kitchen sold from June 1, 2017 until May 31, 2018. The first 1,000 trees will be planted in Florida’s Goethe State Forest, a key habitat for the endangered Red-Cockaded Woodpecker. The 53,587-acre conservation area is located in southeastern Levy County, approximately 35 miles southwest of Gainesville, FL. The state forest is home to a wide-array of wildlife including gopher tortoise, Florida black bear, bald eagle, and over 34 species of orchids. Since its purchase under the Florida Conservation and Recreation Lands (CARL) program in 1992, it has become a popular spot for campers, hikers, fishermen, and outdoor enthusiasts alike. JSI is proud to make an impact on a vital part of Florida’s forest, wildlife, and recreation.
